MAO
- Media & Arts Office ONLUS
is a non profit organization dedicated to design, curate
and promote media arts with cultural events, art and editorial
projects.
MAO promotes actual art, expressed throughout all the
platforms in which is usually declined: ambient installations
made by new technologies, audio and video live acts signed
by designers of all nationalities, talk and lectures on
the most popular topics that involve us either as users
and consumers of technologies and new communication tools.
Database, copyright, net art… these are some of
the topics ran on Sintesi,
International electronic arts festival, held in Naples
and Milan from 2002 to 2005, located in unusual and spectacular
venues as church, museums, club and galleries: now MAO
is picking this flower, sowed so widespread. |
